Well, it's a matter of personal taste. You should definitely try out each and every one one them before you buy. Can't really give you better advice than this.

I think the Engl will give you the most diversity, but the Cobra looks cool too

The Engl and the Cobra are both great amps, it is for sure no mistake to get them, I don't know the H&K amp, so I can't say anything about that one. But what I don't really understand is... you don't want a Mesa, but you consider the Cobra? The Cobra is trying to hit the same sound as Rectifiers...

I'd forget about all of those and start browsing for a useful 50W amp, unless you're playing arenas.
Seriously, what are you going to do with a 120W amp -------------------- My bands homepage

We do play many big outdoor gigs as a band in the summer. Lots of Biker festivals and park parties. So the bigger amps are necessary. I have a 50W amp already. Cool. Most ppl would go for a 100W just because, and then get stuck with the volume at 1. I know too little about these amps so I wouldn't know. The Framus Cobra looks interesting though. -------------------- My bands homepage

For open gigs and large venues, 4x12 is a necessity.
