It took a little work to get these active pickups into my RG, but it only took a day and now they are in and work perfectly. All I can say are that these pickups are unbelievable. I thought my IBZ/Dimarzio pickups actually sounded pretty good but these are exponentially better sounding. They have more low end, a smoother top end, and they don't scoop any mid frequencies out which i'm really glad about. I was worried that the addition of active pickups to my guitar was going to make it sound very generic like other actives can do to guitars, but these still retain my guitars sound, just enhanced. I plan on writing a full review after more playing but if anyone is looking into active pickups, for metal and all around, I highly recommend these. Hey and they cheaper to EMG's to boot.

SD is famous by not scooping the mids, their pups mostly have either low mids or hi mids enhanced. Well done and a great choice. COngrats.
