So which would you choose? These to me are easily the two best Dream Theater DVD's (and some of the best ever), But if I had to choose, it would be Score, the performance of The Spirit Carries On is just Phenomenal. BUT.....Budokan is amazingly amazing as well smile.gif

Well they are both very good i was especially impressed with Dream Theater playing Afterlife on Score and playing a new song for Score. I agree that The Spirit Carries On is sensational but so is Endless Sacrifice and Trial of Tears on the Budokan DVD. So i'm afraid i'm not going to be able to vote on this one, to close to call a draw there i think

Sorry to say that I (being a huge Dream Theater fan) have not seen either one of them, however I have seen some footage on Youtube, Live at Budokan has Instrumedley, and Score has Octavarium, so I don't know.

I love both, but i prefer Budokan. There's something about the solo on the Hollow Years performance that just gets me.
If i were to pick a favourite though, it would be the Live Scenes from a Memory smile.gif

Tough one!

I went for score because the performance of in the name of god (one of my favourite DT tunes) was not a strong one.

Score, was flawless.

I vote for Score, but both are great! Maybe cause Budokan is more a "show", Score is like a friendly jam, I don't know why, maybe the way they are dressed! In Budokan Hollow years is just jaw dropping, in Score Innocence faded too... For the best tone I choose Scenes from New York...Petrucci's sound is simply amazing!
