ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH THE GUITARIST BUCKETHEAD

ANY TECHNIQUES THAT YOU HAVE WOULD BE A GREAT HELP TO ME

WHAT I AM MOST INTERESTED IN IS THE TAPPING THING THAT HE DOES...
IT SEEMS LIKE HE IS TAPPING A ROOT NOTE " SAY A MAJOR AT THE FIFTH FRET CHORD" HE WOULD TAP A ON THE 6TH FRET WITH HIS LEFT HAND AND TAP THE NOTES OF THE CHORD ONE AT A TIME WHILE TAPPING THE ROOT NOTE ON THE 6TH FRET.....KIND OF LIKE PLAYING A DRUM ROLL WITH YOUR FINGERS
ROOT,3RD STRING,ROOT,4TH STRING,ROOT,5TH STRING
IT SOUNDS LIKE YODELING IN A WAY

CHECK FIGURE 5

ANY BUCKETHEAD LESSONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.....CAUSE THIS GUY IS OUT THERE

THANKS
JOHN

I'm working in a Buckethead lesson.
In the figure 5 he's noodling around with some augmented intervals and chromatic lines. That's the reason that he sounds very "strange".
Let me know if that help you to understand a little more.

I love Buckethead! Nottingham Lace and Binge and Grab are two great songs that come to mind. I have no idea how he developed his technique, he's a freak like Shawn Lane!
