I have had this for about 6 months, and am just now getting around to sharing it with yall. Sorry for the delay.
This Jackson DK2M Dinky Electric is absolutly amazing. I played a Mexican Strat Before this... The playability on this guitar is amazing. The neck is smooth and fast, allowing for access into the high frets. although I cannot reach enough to sweep the 24th fret from the A string... and I have long fingers. The pickups are killer, they can be crystal bright and somewhat clean, with alot of warm to sharp and tight aggressive punch. I bought this guitar because I needed something that could produce a heavier tone, and this Jackson delivers 100% of the time. I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone looking for something from beginner to advanced players range. You will not be disappionted. I believe I have attatched a picture of it. Cost me $549 from GC.

The Jackson DK2 Dinky Electric Guitar sports dual Duncan Designed humbuckers mounted on a sleek alder body for plenty of warm, chunky tone. The shred-eriffic rock maple neck sports a bound compound-radius maple fretboard. A scalloped heel means uninhibited access to the upper frets, while a Floyd Rose double-locking trem lets you dive as deep as you want.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out.

Alder body
Rock maple bolt-on neck
Bound rosewood compound-radius fingerboard
24 frets
25-1/2" scale
1-11/16" nut
Matching headstock
Jackson-licensed Floyd Rose low-profile double locking trem
Sharkfin inlays
Binding binding
Dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers
Black hardware

That's the guitar I always wanted but never got... It looks killer with the bright Neck and Black Sharktooth Inlays. I want that on a RR!

Absolutely continue to consider it! I tested it for a week before I bought it, during one instance ( Pavel is going to kill me! ) I played a JEM and liked it... but it didnt feel as good as my Jackson, so I went back and sat down to the Jackson. This guitar is so versital. I forgot to mention above, the strings feel like butter under my fingers. Also, comming from a strats fixed bridge to a floating Floyd Rose, and still being a new player, I had problems will resting too much weight from my hand on the bridge and bending the picth of notes. Playing on this guitar made my right hand technique improve and strengthen, I dont know how else to put it.

Nice guitar and review. I just ordered my DKMG Dinky this week and should get it in on Monday. Truth be told, messing around with the DK2M at guitar center is what made me decide to get a Jackson. It is basically identical to the DKMG other than EMG 81/85 pickups and cosmetics. I am glad that I keep hearing great reviews.

Here is the picture of mine that I got off ebay.

After hearing about the fellow enthusiasm of Jackson guitar owners, I have decided to start a "Jackson Family" where all those who get to enjoy the pleasures of a great guitar can gather to express their excitement! If you would like to Join, send me a picture of:
You with your Jackson & a piece of paper with your GMC Forum ID written on it! I will add you to the Jackson Family and you can add it to your Signature!

BTW, sweet axes skennington and M-P

I also have a Dinky which I put an original Floyd in because the liscensed Floyd wouldn't stay in tune. It has the eeriedess swirl paint job. I owned one of the first Soloists ever made, (back in '84 or '85), and like a fool, sold it. Warren Dimartini, of Ratt, played it at that years' NAMM show! Will get another Soloist some day, my favorite guitar. You get a lot of guitar for your money with one of these. I hope they, (Jackson), don't become too proud the way Gibson has...
