I would get something with emg 81/85's in it... but thats me, i love the active pickups for that nasty metal sound

But its a easy task to switch to active pickups on it? The FR version of it has emg 81/85 smile.gif

The guitar is fine, I used a Horizon myself for some years while I was still playing ESP, but I would also go for the EMG pickups for sure.

Ok, here is my problem.. The horizon with whammy has emg's but the one without has not. And i dont really want a whammy biggrin.gif Is it hard to change pickups?
