Just got my Jackson DKMG Dinky in transparent red in today. It plays and sounds incredible. I have a PAF Pro neck pup and a Super Distorion bridge pup in my Ibanez SZ520 and love the way it sounds. I was skeptical about the active EMG's that come in the DKMG (was already planning on putting Seymore Duncan Blackouts in it), but the EMG's have really surprised me. The EMG 81 bridge pickup doesn't sound nearly as muddy as the Super Distortion does, yet sounds even more aggressive and artificial harmonics are a breeze. The EMG 85 neck pickup doesn't have quite the same clean tone as the PAF Pro, but sounds just as good if not better with distortion. All I can really say is that I am extremely happy with this purchase. Here are few pictures that I thought I would share.

And here it is next to my Ibanez.

Nice guitar! You mixed something up, the 81 is the bridge and the 85 is the neck humbucker.

Wow...the worst part is that I knew that. Note to self: proofread next time.
