Anyone run a Valve Jr through a 2x12 cabinet?

I have one of these little amps now. People talk about how surprisingly loud they are for 5watts. I'm wondering how much louder it would be on a 2x12 vs a 1x12. Is it a lot? Too much for basement/bedroom situation?

It would be louder and more bassy that's for sure.

I've run my Blackheart through a Engl 4x12.
Unfortunatly it was in a bigger room so it's hard to say how much louder it got. Probably it was louder but no by much.
As said already the sound got.. well not just more bassy. Richer. Or more full. I don't know how to describe it in english :/
From tight to fat maybe. Like this ( ) instead of this | |

You're right...I do remember a pic of Andrew with an EVJ in the corner. Will bug him if I don't hear from him.

Sounds like it doesn't make things too bad in a small space, so maybe I'll just do it. It seems like there's a lot more 2x12 cabs on the used market than 1x12's.
