Hello guys, I'd like the somebody take a loot at this text and correct my misspellings... I put the Spanish version and the English version wink.gif

Thanks in advance:

THE MELODIC FANTASY PROJECT:

Melodic Fantasy is my own solo Project. That will be formed by a great amount of albums from very different styles and the objective is to play and experiment in all the diverse ways that are possible. So after Earlier Compositions there will be more albums like “Akoustik Fantasy”, “Symphonic Fantasy”, etc. where I try to get groups of songs with a similar style because in Earlier Compositions we can find from ballads in the style od Depeche Mode or Dance rhythms to Terror music, Power metal or Progressive metal.
This is only the first step, now I’m in the Museum’s Hall, but there will be more time to explore all the different Rooms.
All the styles have a place in this project, and I wish to explore the maximum possible because I really think that there aren’t good or bad styles, just good or bad sogs, so if you feel that my music is not good enough I cannot search ecuses in the style.

EARLIER COMPOSITIONS:

EARLIER COMPOSITIONS:

We can say that this album is like a compilation putting together all the songs that I’ve recorded during the last 2 years and that made possible my advance not only in the composing, mixing and mastering fields but also in creating a good and profitable routine.
The truth is that I hope I’ve dedicated more time searching sounds and working with recording programs than in the own writing and the fact is that some solo are just improvisations with small and non voluntary outs of tune. Well, the objective was to create something that anybody could listen without saying “what a pity that it doesn’t get a better sound”. But the way is so long and there are some mistakes that I cannot resolve in this album, but I’ll talk about this later.

Earlier Compositions is an irregular album, I know. There are a really different tracks with a really different quality, but as usually happens it’s difficult to choose what songs should remains and what doesn’t, so as I don’t need to discard anything I decided to put all together here except 2 bad tracks . Of course each of you are able to record your favourite songs.

Well, as you can see that’s an extremely long album, almost 100 minutes, so that’s the reason because I understand that it would be too much but the idea is to think about the album like a weird compilation with all tracks that haven’t a concrete project. Of course I recorded more things for other projects, and I wish this themes will be released one day, but I prefer not including them here because those are a little word apart.

MY RECORDING PROCEDURE:

I often use some programs to get the songs. One for the composing, a MIDI tab, other to put real sounds into the MIDI and the last one to record guitars and do the mix and mastering.
The idea is to do in different steps to work harder in those points because working all together would be too much difficult because of the excessive resources use (just think that sometimes I’ve need more than 40 tracks for one song… actually I think I didn’y use less than 20).
Now it’s time to say a big thank you to the www.guitarristas.info’s forum because of his help and the reason is because I uploaded there my stuff and the members send me some advices about the mixing, mastering or anything else. This procedure was really important to improve my ear and sound technical skills. So as Toni Lloret (site creator and excellent player) the best way to protect your songs and to avoid that somebody steal them is to share them, so I invite you to do share your stuff because it’s a great experience. Every theme that you listen with a critical ear improves yourself and helps you to know in your head what’s your desired sound.
Well, after all I must say that the quality of this album is not the desired because I have some troubles with my computer and I lost great part of the stuff. In fact what you have in your hands now is not the stuff good mixed and good mastered, but is the remastered themes from my initial mixes that I did to share in guitarristas.info
So all the virtual instruments (bass, drums, orchestra, percussion) and guitars as well have his origin in the last year because in May 2007 all this stuff was already recorded. It’s not difficult to understand that nowadays the sound that I can get is too much better, so my next album will sounds better.

MY FUTURE:

I think there are too much things that I want to do. Now I have some projects in my mind and some others, in which there are a Gothic project with a girl-lyric voice, another sung project called VASTAGOS (lyrics in Spanish, sorry). I have also an acoustic project called Akoustik Fantasy with a typical structure: bass, drums and guitars. And finally I have a project with a DJ that I wish works good.

Well that's all GuitarMasterFriends !! I supose I'll upload another text with the thanks and something more, so thanks for all your help !!!

See you smile.gif

Apologies - did this too quickly to really do justice to your piece Juan and it's not perfect. I've tried to stay as close to your original Spanish version as I can but my translation isn't perfect and I've diverged from it a few times as well but hopefully not too much. I've used modern English so the grammar is more 'how it's used daily' then correct classically.

Cheers,
Tony smile.gif

EDIT - correcting my sloppy English - duh
