I'm a huuge Metallica fan too. Metallica-books litterarly taught me how to play
But i must admit that i dont have high hopes for the new album. I will never get tired of the first 4 albums, and after that i liked everything up untill and including Load (there's actually some brilliant songs there). But Reload was where it stopped for me. I cant find a single song on Reload that i can finish. And St.Anger was an abomination. To be honest, i dont really mind if the new album will suck. (Offcourse i wouldnt mind if it turned out great). I will stay a fan nomatter what just because of the timeless first albums. -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio

I can't remember of a band that stayed active for that many years without changing.
To my taste the perfect metallica age is done by master of puppets, and justice for all and black album. But if you ask me I prefer load and reload to kill em all. I love half of ride the lightning and can't stand half of it. So at least for me, their initial changes were for good But they kept changing. I don't see that as selling themselves. If you think for the "selling" theory I would say that black album was the one they did it(not load), but I see no one saying is a bad album. -------------------- my "Thank you GMC!" video
