So, I decided not to buy the Mesa Blue Angel amp. I was bummed at first, but it just wasn't the amp for me. I told myself that if I ever want to buy the perfect amp, it just has to be an Orange. Silly me that I never bothered with how much this thing is, but I finally found the perfect amp. I found through there website that Orange made a 15w head called Tiny Terror and its under $600, I am buying it! You might be wondering on it being that expensive, but this thing has all the right tones I could imagine. Plus, its played by Boris, my favorite band.

So my question for buying this is the fact that, if I buy a 15w head, how much ohms does this thing have because its not stated anywhere. I figured it will support any Orange cabs since people are playing the 4x12 cabs on this tiny thing.

One more thing, do I need to buy any wires to connect the cab and head or does it automatically comes with one?

It has 1x16ohms and 2x8ohm outputs. It comes in a gigbag and with a powercable but I think it comes with a wire too but i might be wrong.

One 16-ohm jack and two 8-ohm jacks.

I would expect that the power cord comes with. I'm not sure if a cable would come with to connect it to a cabinet.

So thanks guys for the help smile.gif. I'm still trying to convince my parents about these amps because they have never heard of em. I gotta say, I'm sick of Guitar Center and there stuff like Fenders, Peavey's etc. I just gotta have a vintage sounding amp that is absolutely a tone machine and not made in some low asian country.

Orange is more of a British thing. You don't see them very often in the US. They were the basis of Sabbath's original sound. I'd snap up a Tiny Terror in a second if I had the budget for it...I'm just not going to have the extra cash this year for it.

Speaker cable. Usually a short one will do fine too, like a three footer.

It was the first best picture I could find of the backside of the Tiny Terror. I spent a lot of time after that post looking at his personal collection...there's some amazing guitars there.

I used to live not too far from LaCrosse...next time I go up and visit family I might have to stop by.

For the people that live in Wisconsin, since Dave's guitar is in Wisconsin, anyone of you know the store called Interstate Music or Cascio Interstate Music or something along those lines? I want to know if there online shipping and store is reliable or not.

Vince,

I live in PA and have a local Music Store that has 3 Brand New Orange Tiny Terrors left.

I bought one.

I can pretty much guarantee you that I can get you one for $499 shipped to your door as long as you have a credit card or paypal.

Better yet, just buy an Epiphone 1x12 cabinet for $129, it is 16ohms and sounds great with the Tiny Terror.

I bought a second cabinet, a Blackheart 1x12, but it sounded terrible so I returned it.

If you want me to hook it up for you e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll get you their phone # and website, plus I'll shoot them a call to get it set up for you.

I actually turned a local guy on to the deal and he snapped one up two weeks ago.

Howard

Well, the reason why I want to order one from Interstate music is the fact that they have a 1 year no interest card. Its pretty hefty for my parents to pay for a head that cost $550, and paying for it slowly w/o interest is much suited for our budget.

Sorry Howard.

on their website, they've got the retail store address, and it looks like you could buy The Tiny Terror online. i don't know how reliable they are because i've never bought anything there, but they seem nice enough smile.gif
