hi Ivan
this is my take on your wonderfull blues lesson. Beginner version. I recorded it without the backing so the licks are more clearly. Please let me know that you think and don't be afraid to criticise blues_solo_beginner.mp3 ( 823.71K ) Number of downloads: 515 |

It is great man. You really nailed the rhythm part, and being able to play without backing shows that you have a talent for the rhythm.
I would say your biggest concern should be bends. You must be able to bend the note exactly to pitch and keep it there. ANd I mean exactly. Bending is practiced like anything else, slow and with a metronome up to desired speed. Other than that it is great! -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

I would say use just the wrist for starters. The wrist movement is there as a foundation - without it it is very difficult to have a bend/vibrato control. When you master it, you can fine tune the wrist movements to acomodate your style of playing mate.
If you wanna improve bend/vibrato, just do it slowly with a metronome. Here's a useful tip on how to practice them, it's Toroso's video response I did a while ago. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&id=13134 -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
