Awesome video! biggrin.gif

Looks like Muris handled the situation pretty well! Kudos! laugh.gif

I bet the drummer felt really bad about goofing up.
Poo happens.
What matters is how you handle it when it hits the fan..

The important thing is that Muris went up there and gave them show. laugh.gif

Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.

no I only videoed Muris`s performance, we did try and take pictures of all the entries but it was too dark sad.gif

Rendering some more Paul Gilbert at the moment, really excellent stuff, good job Bondy was taller than me so he could hold up the camera higher laugh.gif

Kris is kindly uploading them for me when he recieves them and adding them to the first post, got some more footage of Muris to come so keep checking back guys smile.gif

I agree with the others, although the drummer blew it (no excuse!!!) you Muris are guitar hero material. Keep rocking man, this was only the first time you took place in such an event, I'm sure you'll have plenty more oportunities. Good stuff happens to good people! smile.gif

Thanks Smells- i really appreciate the work you went to to get all this done for us biggrin.gif

And congrats to Muris for such a great performance despite the little misunderstanding with the drums- It really gets me motivated for my practise seeing you up on stage kicking butt like that so i guess i'll be watching these over and over biggrin.gif

You may not have the title "Guitar Idol" but the amount of work you've done helping us guys gives you a status far beyond "idol" wink.gif

Congrats and thanks as usual biggrin.gif

Man, seeing these photos and videos it's hard to state how much I would like to be there. tongue.gif

Congratulations, Muris. It is amazing how good you can do on face of adverse situations. I barely can play one bar, when the drummer messes up tongue.gif

Next year, or in another big guitar event, we should really make an effort to have a massive GMC meeting!!! laugh.gif

Wow this was Awesome, I wish I could have been there.

Man, I would probably have been pretty pissed at the drummer, but kudos to Muris for showing some real class, and taking a pic with him!

Btw I watched that vid of Muris playing the JEM, it just looked like Butter in his hands! Can't wait for a lesson from Muris on the JEM!

Its not just a JEM its a Steve Vai SIGNED JEM, I can't speak for most people, but I know I wouldn't be playing a signed JEM, what if your hands get a bit sweaty and you lay your hand on it and it SMEARS??? Not good!

Hey,this went huge only after one day,
thanks you soo much for your kind words and understanding
for not so great overall performance. smile.gif

To be honest with you,
deep in side of me I didn't want to win this competition.
There were many great players and I actually
think that judges made good decision with Gustavo Guerra,
he had most of the votes and that's what claims who's the idol,
mass public and not the judges.
Maybe I'm wrong.
And there are few other reasons as well.
First of all,I already won Jem from LickLibrary and
they were co-organisers here as well.
So it might have look like fixed or som, dunno.
Second, now I have 2 guitars to bring back home
and I don't have any idea what to do at the airport,
imagine another one and an amp. laugh.gif

So basicly all I wanted is to have some
fun at the stage is London, drummer had a gap
eventualy it all went fine, specialy on LickLibrary stand later on.
I have bunch of clips and shots which means a lot to me. smile.gif

Plus Chris and I will meet in next few days again. wink.gif

I think I remember after he won the Contest, Muris mentioned he would make a lesson on it.

Here it is. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...mp;#entry141599

Yeah,I will get it lacquired first, only the signature,
it should protect it a little, only for few clips and a lesson I guess smile.gif

Actually I only did one tune with it for LickLibrary,
more like a soundcheck, real performance was on my guitar
cause we were scared to ruin the signature. huh.gif
