Hi everyone. My name is Steve and I have been playing in bands for 35 years...mostly as a front man, singer and Rhythm GTR player. I have finally made up my mind to bring more to the table than just a dozen chords and my vocals.

I am comfortable with some scales but find myself stuck in certain memorized licks and can't seem to break from the norm and really learn my neck. I am retired now and have more time so I want to really learn how to play. I need all the help I can get. Any and all Help will be appreciated!! Thanks in advance

Hey Steve,my name is Cal and it sounds like we`re in the same boat! I have the same old habit of going to the "sweet notes" or the ones that always work while staying in what I call, the comfort zone.Hope you and I both get alot outta this site, man! Play on!!!!!
