I don't listen to live albums. Although, the only one I've ever owned is Amon Amarth 4 disc live set. Pretty good, need to spin it more when no one is at home.

QUOTE ("Steve Vai")
Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.

Resurrecting an old post... but two of the live DVD's I've really been enjoying a lot lately...

Muse - HAARP
Kamelot - One Cold Winter's Night

Muse rocks out Wembley, and Kamelot's DVD is very well done.

And on my DVR from HDNet, Megadeth Blood in the Water Live in San Diego - can't wait to hear their upcoming album with Chris Broderick!
