I love a band called Cryhavoc, they released two albums, both that I think are great. Sadly the band ended it life after those two albums. I don't like the heaviest genres of metal, but this band really sounds great to me.

Drudkh, Negură Bunget, Wolves in the Throne Room, Craft, The Fall of Every Season and lots of others.

They are not neccicarily not famous (Just Drudkh are really well known, and Negură Bunget is one of the most respected bands wherever I turn to nowadays) but there is simple not enough talk about them on gmc imo.
