Neoclassical 3-level Question (for Anybody) Options

I see no reason to direct this question towards Marcus, enough people here have learned it.

At the end of the advanced version, Marcus shows his tab and plays it in that fashion.

And he goes on to say....

"This is basically a mix of the one in the beginner- and the intermediate lesson. It is in the key of harmonic A-minor, but we add a G (12th fret on the G-string) just to fill it out with more notes. If you want, you could just as well skip that note."

Now listening to his fast version, to me it sounds like he is playing the straight harmonc scale (no G note), and not only that, he is playing it as 4 triplets before the note on the 5th string, not as the way he does in the slow version, where he does not play those 12 notes as triplets. I have listened to it at half speed, and it sure sounds that way to me. Anyone agree or disagree? I feel like I like it that way personally.

I saw this thread so I might as well answer

That run is actually a group of 13 notes, which is a typical Chopin-kind-of-thing to do (check the guitarpro file and you'll see the timing). I realize that it's hard to practice it slow to a metronome, so if we take out one note we have 12 notes as triplets which is a lot easier to understand. And since it should be played very fast it's hard to hear any difference if we skip one note. The note to take out should then be the G because it's not in the A-harmonic minor scale. I think Muris did that in the instructor plays instructor-video

Thanks Marcus. It sounded to me like that is what you did in the fast version. But maybe I am hearing it wrong. The ear does often trick you. Even though I said I liked it that way better, my mind also understood that I would want to keep working with it both ways, and probably later I would like the 13 note Chopin way (now that you tell me that is Chopin'ish.). Thanks for reply.

Absolutely.that lick is indeed fast one,
hard to notice the difference if you take out G note.
I did it with G tho,to keep 3nps pattern and it sounds really cool that way,
with small chromatic line using A,G# and G!!
