Can anyone tell me how to record the guitar sound??
I know that it need a software, can anyone tell me what king of a software??
I have a Line 6 Pod X3, I know it could record the guitar sound, but I don't know how to use,
in order to ues Line 6 Pod X3 to record the guitar sound, it need a software right??
Can anyone please tell me??

you can record the guitar sound as a test go to the intertaintment in accessories and click sound recorder you can record to 60 second but if you need a soft ware i think there is many soft ware but there is a reaper or audiocy
soft wares in the same time i use sonar 7

You need DAW(Raper,Nuendo,Cubase....)they are sequencers.Try too look on the net for some free trials and whan you find the daw you like working on,well you could buy it.There are also free programs.With daw-s you could make your own projects(drums,bass..)not just record guitar.smile.gif

Like the others said, you have to have a sequencer installed, your Pod should have came with a disc labled Ableton lite. Reaper in my opinion is better. You can download the trial version for free. Once you get it downloaded, you'll probably have questions so don't hesitate to ask.

You need a software that enables you to record multiple tracks. That software is called DAW (digital Audio WOrkstation) and it serves for many purposes among mulittrack recording and playback, mostly mixing, adding effects, MIDI sequencing etc. Reaper is a free one that is ideal for starters.
