Well I had intended on dropping the new guitar down to DGCFAD tuning eventually and I just snapped both E strings with a Whammy bar squeal. So here I am raising the gauge and dropping the tuning. A headache may be in store.

Be careful, because you'll need to adjust your bridge !! but this tunning is amazing, I had been using them and I'll return, but I'll drop 6 string to C biggrin.gif

You mean both D strings? ohmy.gif

just kidding laugh.gif Wishing you luck! And make sure you balance the trem aligned with the body - either by the notch on the trem or the top of it, whatever goes for your trem.

I just raised the gauge on my floyd rose for the first time and it really wasn't as painful as I thought it would be as long as your careful and have patience smile.gif

Well it didn't go good at all. I think I was pretty close when I realized I had accidentally stripped a screw >.<

I got it loose and have a spare for now (I'm still going to get some more) so I can go back to tuning later today.
