Megadeth + Metallica...

I've had people tell me that Megadeth are just a rip off from Metallica, and Dave Mustaine pinches alot of the metallica Riffs and just puts variations on them. I know thats not true, yeah he may own the rights to some of the stuff that he wrote, such as the song Mechanix is basically Four Horsemen, but slightly different. Personally, i like them both and i don't see why so many people who are megadeth/metallica fans seem to think they have to not like the other band. Both bands are musically talented, It's just soo many people hate megadeth just because of Dave Mustaine, and It's quite silly in my eyes. Unfortunately many people lack it in the amount to achieve this state, and waste theirs and ours time in futile "debates" where main arguments are that someone is true/great/awesome and others are "poo". Dave Mustaine had very close ties with Metallica which probably would cause alot of songs to sound similar. I love MegaDeth, live they blew my mind, and their albums blow my mind. I like alot of Metallicas stuff too. To say that MegaDeth is a rip off of metallica is outragious. IMO Mega Deth is alot better than Metallica. I would listen to Symphony of Destruction and Holy Wars before i listened to Master of Puppets and Enter Sandman. My major problem with metallica is their stuff gets very repetitive very fast. I apoligize to people who like Master of Puppets.. but the main riff is over played. They need to stop playing the same thing over and over to make the song longer and just get it out there and let people play the song again if they wanna hear the riff again. also..
