I've been playing for years now but I've never learned a whole song...up until now...now I'm learning three at one time Van Halen Mean streets, Skynards Gimme Three steps, Lamb of Gods 11th hour.

I've been playing for years and i've never learnt a song the whole way through unless i've got to actually play it live. It just seems pointless otherwise, no point sitting in your room for two minutes on the verse playing the same 3 notes over again.

first song.. well first I played on my sisters undersized spanish guitar for one month.. on which learned Blink 182's "I won't be home for christmas" first. When I got my own electric guitar, I learned Nothing Else Matters first (all the way.. )

My first guitar was an acoustic, so I didn't really learn anything electric til I'd been playing a few months.

The first song I learned to play all the way through, including the solo, was Another Brick in the Wall PT. 2 by Pink Floyd. It took quite a awhile to learn it, the verses were easy, but the solo was hard.
