Hey everyone, ive been having some trouble palm muting. It seems like whenever i attempt to do it, i just completely mute out the notes, it doesnt sound good, especially with the higher strings. Thanks for any advice!

Try and find that one comfortable spot that you like and works for you...that might not make much sense but its something my dad taught me

maybe you are putting too much pressure on the strings when you are muting them, like this you kill them completely, also the ones that you still want to play.

Moving a hand closer to the bridge and applying less pressure (all this while practicing) will solve the problem.
