Dunlop Tortex 1.00 mm triangular shape. Would like to check V-picks but they are expensive.

I use dunlop tortex h3 picks. But after a week they look like h1's and I need to replace them.

Jazz 3, I begun to use them as soon as I read that Petrucci uses them too(in his Rock discipline), that was back in 2000...
But I still love Petrucci, and he is right about jazzIII:)

I have tried all sorts of picks. In the beginner I used to play acoustics mostly and loved 0.75, 0.85mm picks Jim Dunlop, all the time even when I played electric guitars later. People suggested me to use thicker picks but I just felt there was no flexibility and picks got 'stuck' in between strings.

But as I explored, I started loving 1mm picks. Soon, I felt love with smaller size picks, it fitted well between that fingers and was easy to play.

Recently, I tried and JAZZ pick, don't know 2mm? I liked the smaller pick with sharp point edge as it was just easy play faster licks.

Just few days ago, I tried a bigger Jazz picks and I m loving it. I finally found my pick. smile.gif

It says Jazz III Jim Dunlop XL series. It works for me.

Picks as everything is your choice and what feels easy for you.

I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!

Look at the topic for my guitar...

Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!)
Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :)
