QUOTE (Rated Htr @ Jul 11 2008, 04:28 PM) *
I'm thinking of doing like...First try a maximum speed at metronome than practise for weeks like 50% of that speed, 60 % to get a clean sound but I first need to see if I'm doing it right smile.gif

Yes,always keep it clean and slowly at beginning! smile.gif

But do not loot at the time,
just do it until you get it right, my 2 cents wink.gif

Just did my take on my two examples.

The first one, the arpeggio you played, is how I imagine that being used in a chord context. You see, it's the same notes, just played an octave lower - as a regular C chord.

The second video is how I think a regular C arpeggio would be played around the 12th fret.

Third video is the picking hand for the C arpeggio.

Sorry for the bad playing and video quality - I hope this clears up some things and such.

Sure, man, go ahead and record something! I'm no expert on the topic, but I'll do my best to help.

Alright, man, I just listened. I'd say that you are getting there, however all dependent on what kind of arpeggio you want, and how you want it to sound, I think there are a few things to be corrected.

On this one now, you play the hammer on/pull offs on the top faster than the other notes. If you speed it all up by 50%, I think you'll have a difficult time playing the "top" notes on the high e-string that fast. Instead, if you play everything, including the hammer ons/pull offs, you will have a lot more even sounding arpeggio. smile.gif

Thanks man, I don't think I need to upload another one just to do the hammer on/pull off slower laugh.gif
Thanks for all the help, I guess now it's up to me to test my patience smile.gif
