I'm buying a Fender Koa Stratocaster tomorrow and wondered if anyone has played one and their thoughts on them. I like guitars that are different and not many have Koa Strats. It's Korean. Is that bad with Strats? I'm going to change the stock pick ups to Fender Texas Specials straight away also. Any thoughts? Do some prefer the Koa Telecaster?

Guitars:- Caparison Horus Snowcloud, Parker Nitefly M, Parker Nitefly SA, Gibson SG, Parker P10e, 40 Year Old Spanish Acoustic
Amps:- Framus Ruby Riot 2x12" stack

It's cool that you wanna change the pups to texas specials, that will improve the sound. And the guitar looks fine, just see how it fits you. If the neck is OK - buy it smile.gif

I played it once in a guitar Shop.

Awesome guitar, nice looking too,

Although, The Stock Pickups are Seymour Duncans... not too bad for Stock PU's...
