Arh! Cool! smile.gif

Didn't really get it, as the collab had yet to start. Makes better sense now, though I'm not sure if we're doing a strict cover of the song or out own version?

With all the people we have involved, im sure we are going to do our own version... its a simple song to have all these people...

Just to clarify again, this is not your typical collab. We are working here collectively as a GMC band to make this happen. the more members that join in, the more work for me but I'll make it happen. We want to cover this song with all involved and will take a bit of mixing, but I know we can pull it off! smile.gif

For those that have not seen this video, here is what we are going to try and accomplish, well if it turns out near as good, I think we will all be proud. Keep in mind that the instructors are working in the same format as well. I know, they have superior equipment, but we can give them the best of what we have! Check it out...

Are we making a non-strict cover, meaning we're not covering the song 100 % as it is? smile.gif That would be kinda cool.

Yeah. I'm glad to be on the list. Since we have so many people here, a different arrangement / version is needed. ^^

ok, so how are we going to do this? Who's gonna do what and where to upload it? I think that it might be good if Skenny makes like a plan and posts it here, so we know what to do!

EDIT: Check andrew's video lesson! It's cool laugh.gif

If I missed anyone, please let me know. As you can see, we need someone to handle the bass duties. We can always program the bass line but it would be great to have a real recording. smile.gif

If any of you feel you would rather do something else, just speak up.

Now, who wants to shoot some video? tongue.gif I know some of you don't have a cam and thats fine, don't worry about that. For those that do, It would be cool to have some footage from you. smile.gif So who's up for it?

As far as the recording's, I think the easiest way is to assign sections of the song to certain people. That way your not trying to capture a short recording. I can cut and paste as needed once I have all of them. I'll work on getting the sections assigned.

Until then, here's a couple of backing's to practice with. One is with key's, the other bass and drum's only. I didn't mess with the arrangement at this point.
