I am just listening to them, and really miss them and I think that they deserved more attention then they get when they where together. So much originality in there songs and in the individual playings and singing of course.
All tough, live they did not sound as good as on cd,they really made some impact on the Rock music.
I really wanted to see them live but know that is not possible.
Any body else like this band?

Yep. I like RATM, but I liked audioslave even better. Chris cornell is one of my favorite singers, with a voice that is hard to reproduce, and paired with Tom morello guitar creativity it sounded really unique sound.
The album Audioslave is really amazing.

Well you know I agree with you smile.gif I'm a huge Morello fan and I really enjoyed the things he did with Audioslave. I'm more of a RATM fan but the Audioslave stuff, although not as gritty I think, was still genious. Cornell added a great element to the line up and they all did some great work. Definitely should have got more attention. Here are a few of my fave's

Cochise

Gasoline

Shadow of the Sun

OK I've now convinced myself to go watch Audioslave in Cuba DVD smile.gif

They were a great band, but Cornell never completely fit in with the RATM members. I liked them better as RATM and Soundgarden.

Cornell is the worst live singer ever.

Yeah Cornell didn't sound the greatest on that DVD. As much as I enjoy him I do find he can be a bit inconsistent live. But it was still a great concert and Morello just tore it up smile.gif

And yes Shadow of the Sun is amazing. I think one of the best from Audioslave.

Yeah! I like their albums but I didn't like them live. I have to say that I miss Soundgarden a bit more.

I got all of their albums and I miss them too. Morello is just a great and fresh guitar player and Chris Cornells voice fits that kind of music so well. It's very unfortunate that they broke up.
