I thought he quit because they made fun of Scientology (and he is a Scientologist) ...

Exactly, there was nothing racist a bout it,South Park(Tray and Matt)made fun a bout every existing religion and they say:
"he had no problems cashing the check when we did all the others religions".
But I am shore they where friends after the break.

There is a saying that is comes in 3's & it was a busy weekend for the Reaper with no pun intended.
Isaac Hayes, Bernie Mac, and Carey Hart’s little brother Anthony Hart all passed this last weekend.
RIP to all

That is my philosophy in life. It's not racist if you make fun of everything equally. I'm white, but I laugh as hard as ever when I hear white jokes.

I personally did think it was pretty poor form by Isaac Hayes to walk out, when after years of abusing every other religion and getting rich from it, he took something that he had always exploited and suddenly took offence to it.

But regardless, Chef was the life blood of the earlier South Park episodes, and I'll never forget hearing "Chocolate Salty Balls" for the first time when I was 7.

So I say RIP to Isaac Hayes and my sympathy and well wishes go to his family!

Off Topic: I wish the family of Bernie Mac all the best in this tough time for them too. Another comedian who I found utterly hilarious who has been lost tragically in the last week.
