Fantastic entries my friends...
I just uploaded mine, here it is...
Hope you enjoy it!
Don't forget to vote for GMC, it would be awesome to have a GMC final! :-)

My entry

Very cool sound! Sorry just have to say this David: I like your hair better with the tail laugh.gif

I think Muris has an unfair advantage in these contests... every time he enters one, he automatically starts out with couple hundred votes from GMC!

haha, agreed tongue.gif

Thanks everyone, Muris, your shred is excellent. Wonderful skills.
I also enjoyed Joe's video, top notch quality and awesome licks!

Thanks David, I've voted 11 to your video...kind of fair trade between colleagues biggrin.gif

had a chance to browse through a lot of the other ones there and have to say that shred isnt what it used to be!lol
In fact it looks like its dying, mortaly wounded by scaler playing, all or nothing timing, lack of dynamics and tone deaf
melody!I could type more expressions to convey the lack of musical understanding shown there but I might wear out
my keyboard here!
I noticed this in the early days of Youtube where every one and their granny had a webcam and a guitar

They all seem to want to able to run before they can walk?

Anyway, checked out the above teachers here and you all played as it should have been.Thank you for actualy playing great solos and making that trip to that website not a complete waste of time

Thanks Man!

I agree perfectly, many of them wants to run before learn how to walk, and you can hear all their floppy attempt, bad timing, ugly tone, no sense playing, what worries me is that some of them get a an higher rank too!

Yea, just looking at the high ranking players pissed me off. They're all doing the same things, sweeping, speed picking, some legato, tapping+legato, soooo boring, no creativity, no sense of music.

But great job to the GMC dudes, you all did a great job at making music with impressive chops, 11 for all of you! smile.gif

Voted 11 for everybody again. But I think your great contributions are totally wasted in this competition. Most of the high ranking players may be really fast but they all bored me to death. I'm proud that the GMC instructurs stand out so much with original and creative contributions and tasty playing. The same was true for this native competition. A shame that they canceled the voting there.

I just voted everyone an 11 too smile.gif

I agree, most of the other entries are pretty bad. Just random shredding but I have no idea what notes they're playing...basically sounds like buzz to me.

To be honest the best entries are coming from GMC

And they don't even play to a BT. I was blown away by Muris's and David's ideas, cause they did a really nice composition too... People just show off with their schoolbook exercises, random tapping (not with 8 fingers tho wink.gif ), some sweeping...

but fellow GMC members will not pass out just because they see someone using both hands messing on the fingerboard... we have seen much MORE on GMC... biggrin.gif
