Now I need a little Help from you, guys!
I don't get the Artificial Harmonics down.... sad.gif
It's quite often written down but I think I'm just too stupid to get it :shock
When I lightly touch the string after picking it , theres only the same sound as when I palm mute it :think
Can anyone help me?
Thank you,
M4x0r

The way I was tought to do this was to hold the pick as far as possible at the small part.. that way your thumb hits the string right after the pick. It needs a LOT of practising though.

Maybe Kristofer can show it in one of his video's? (would be quite usefull for me too.. since I can't seem to master this technique either). With me it just random works and sounds like I normally picked it :eye

You can't just somewhere strike and touch it with your dumb you have to do it on the right place too like 2 centimeters away from the middle pickup.

Ditto,

You have do like he said. Hold the pick so only a tiny part sticks out. When you pick your string your thumb must touch the string and release at the same time. Just keep moving your pick up and down until you find that sweet spot. Keep trying you will get it. It took me about 1 practice session to figure it out. :smoke

True.. but there's more "Sweet spots", all giving a different tone height.

Also, it is MUCH easier to pull Pinch Harmonics on the bridge pickup, much more distorted, it helps alot. When I do them, I bend my thumb towards the string instead of just expecting the string to hit off it, i find this easier, trust me, I have experimented VERY many times. Im sorry if that made no sense at all, its much easier to explain in person.
