Artificial Harmonics?

It's quite often written down but I think I'm just too stupid to get it :shock When I lightly touch the string after picking it , theres only the same sound as when I palm mute it :think Can anyone help me? It needs a LOT of practising though. Maybe Kristofer can show it in one of his video's? (would be quite usefull for me too.. since I can't seem to master this technique either). When you pick your string your thumb must touch the string and release at the same time. Just keep moving your pick up and down until you find that sweet spot. Keep trying you will get it. When I do them, I bend my thumb towards the string instead of just expecting the string to hit off it, i find this easier, trust me, I have experimented VERY many times.
