G-System is a also a great device, but very expenceive. Like 1500$ in net stores. But even G system doesn't come with wah. sad.gif

Yeah but G System is pretty big unit compared with Nova
and doesn't even have overdrive/dist,not just wah.
So just a wah before Nova in chain and you have it all. smile.gif

mmm G-system had Wah, but not the expression pedal, you can add just the expression pedal.
IMHO the best poing of G-system are the 4 high quality loops and the Preamp insert, it's the best toy if you want to work with lot rack effects with 4 stomp boxes and a preamp (well, actually I work with 2 preamps and it works fine too).
Of course all G-system effects are top class wink.gif

Well, talking about Nova System I guess it's a great unit so I'd like to try it, but I don't really need it tongue.gif

I guess Nova is a downpriced version of G system. It looks similar to it's big brother. My guess it has similar effects as G system, but less options. It is good that they made a less expensive version for people who can't afford the real deal. My question is: does Nova has wah as well, but doesn't have expression pedal? unsure.gif

No, no wah. But if you have to hook up an expression pedal anyway, its still the same hassle as hooking up a wah pedal isn't it?

You're right JVM. THe only thing that is bad with separate wah is that requiers it's own power, but that is not too much of a hassle I guess.

Actually wah is the only effect that I always prefer "out of unit" ,
drive can pass the test, hall as well, delay etc.
But with wah,I like to have it individual. smile.gif

I hear you Muris. This is because nobody actually made a good quality wah inside processor - ever unsure.gif smile.gif

I agree, all wah simulators are too bad in comparison to one only-wah-pedal wink.gif

Hey Juan, have you had the chance to check out how wah on G System sounds? Is it OK for everyday use?

After checking out this thing a bit more (a fiew reviews, videos and so on) I'm really psyked! And since I'm a effects freak I've decided to start saving up for one. Only weird thing about the construction is that they've put tap tempo at the "top row" instead of bottom. But still. suuper psyked about it!

well, I don't have an expression pedal in my studio, but if you want I can record some tracks with autowah or/and with touchwah using only G-system without preamp and other effects wink.gif
Actually I want to record some covers using this kind of effects, for instance Gloria Gaynor's "I will survive" smile.gif So I try to record it as soon as possible and you'll listen how it sounds biggrin.gif

I'm not familiar with touch wah expression. What is the difference between that and autowah?

autowah works at fixed time, for instance every 600 mili-seconds, and touch-wah works when you pick hard the strings, so it's really simple to do great rhythms with this effect !!! biggrin.gif

I use it a lot with the group (I use POD XT Live there wink.gif)

Aaah I see, touch wah is something like an envelope filter. That's pretty cool, I like that more than autowah! All the riffs sound funky as soon as you turn it on! biggrin.gif

Well you can find the specs in online stores and from TC support I guess. It looks maybe 40% smaller then G system.
