Hi guys.
You never know what destiny holds in it's hands.

Bad thing:
I've got a kidney stone (if that's the correct name for it?) two weeks ago and spent a week at hospital.
They fixed me up temporarily and I've been in quite some pain since. Had to eat painkillers to yesterday.
They will blast the stone with sound waves in the end of next week. I'll ask for a stone shattering guitar solo.
Not a big deal nowadays, some pain but they can fix it. Makes one think about stuff though.

Good thing:
The pain is gone, I'm almost back to normal. Played some guitar today biggrin.gif

On Tuesday I'm going to Portugal with my family on a one week vacation! Yey!

I was pretty hardheaded with the doctor's that they had to fix me before we go to Portugal. That's why they wanted to wait and blast it when I get home, so they did the quick fix. We have planned and saved a year for this and it would have been so dissapointing to have to cancel it 2 weeks before takeoff.

See you all in about two weeks. By then I should weigh a stone less. tongue.gif

Glad to hear you found some humor out of all that's going on. Those things can be pretty painful. Hope your vacation goes well and you can relax a bit. smile.gif And yes, when one's health, or a family member's health takes a bad turn, It put's life in perspective.

Enjoy your trip! I had a few of those too, both trips and kidnet stones. The only good part is the pain killers you get when they shoot them to pieces at the hospital wink.gif
