Works for me smile.gif
So does Cyanide (link to Cyanide thread)... doesn't the intro remind you of a Maiden song? huh.gif (Stranger in a Strange land)

I hear maiden in couple parts of the song. I wasn't sure if I liked it until it got to the chorus...I like it.

The tune jumps all over the place with the riff changes, more like Justice than anything else since.

Hetfield seems to have more of that old growl with the vocals. Love that.

A huge step up from St Anger, this might actually not suck, even though I'm still far from convinced! biggrin.gif I really disliked the solo though. :\

Before I really speak out about it I'll have to listen to the whole album and put everything in context.

Can't wait for the album to be released.

well, seems that the most overrated band in the history (this excludes kill am all , master of puppets and ride the lightning and in parts justice.) is going back to the times when they could write good music (although if stealing from maiden they steel from the best!) . wink.gif

Works for me too! And yes that intro is Maidenish! I'll say it again, I think Rick Rubin will take them back to there roots.

Album sounds great! Metallica has a much fuller sound now that they have a bassist again. I'm excited. rolleyes.gif

Don't quote me on this at all but I think Cyanide is supposed to be the worst song on the album.

The new single... I think its incredible! I don't think that's just the Metallica fanboy in me either it really rocks, man.

I'm fine with it but I bet they will get some flak from the drum sound.
