First of all, have a great 3 weeks!
One of the classics in my opinion of Albert King is "Born under a bad sky". A live recording I particularly like as well "Live at the Regal" from B.B. King. Some other great albums are "The Anthology, 1947 - 1972" of Muddy Waters and "King of the Delta Blues Singers, Vol. 1" of Robert Johnson. Enjoy your trip and bring back something nice for youself!
I got a blues record rescently with Clapton and King, I think it was very cool. Riding with the King it's called. Clapton is right where he belongs and after this he releases a couple other real blues records too (which I don't got). - Me and Mr Johnson - Sessions for Robert J worth checking out! And while on the subject of Clapton, Yardbirds, John Mayall and Cream are also worth to dig into. Anyway, have a nice trip! -------------------- My bands homepage
All time favourites: B. Streisand - Woman in Love, M. Hopkin - Those were the days, L. Richie - Hello |
