[Sarcasm tags on]

As a reference to events from America, such as the one where a lady "had not been told" that her coffee was hot and she ended up sueing someone, as far as I remember...

I am sure, that had it been in America, you could find someone sueing the company for money for use of their name wink.gif

This is one of those stories where, if you know the facts of the case, you understand that the jury made the right decision. They put that woman in the hospital with serious burns, and they should have known it was bound to happen. I personally like being protected from irresponsibility by corporations. It keeps them in line.

I like it much better than the old days, when they could get away with stuff like this....

And Harris you should buy some and see if you like it and then if you don't write to them and say you'd like your name taken from the brand as you dislike the product biggrin.gif

Not sure I understand correctly though, but as far as I've been told she came out from McDonalds, I think, got into her car, and dropped the coffee on her leg or so... and she then complained that there was no warning sign on the cup saying it was warm or something like that. It goes around everywhere I know as a silly story and one of those stories where you think that the person would be well aware of the situation and that what she did was just because she didn't think too much. For that companies cannot be held responsible in my opinion. Of course, if the story is different...
