Abigor. One of the finest 2nd wave BM. Really great stuff that combines Mayhems chaotic Black Metal, Burzums atmosphere, and Limbonic Art Style symphony.

Hey, there are a lot of good metal bands here.

So, I won't suggest any others.

However, if your looking for some other good music, these are the 'non-metals' I'm into at the moment. These are in no particular order, and not necessarily new bands:

- Death Cab for Cutie (my favorite non-metal band...no they aren't gay LOL)
- Ray LaMontange (the song 'Jolene' is good)
- Oakalla (they only have 1 song 'War')
- The Spill Canvas
- Sam Roberts

--------------------
Guitars:
Ibanez Prestige RG2610E [BKP Cold Sweat]
Ibanez Prestige RG2550E [Carbon Fiber Plastics]
Ibanez Roadstar II RS-135 [Stock]
Quest Acoustic [Stock]

Effects:
Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff
Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah
Boss DR-3 Dr. Rhythym

Amp:
Marshall JCM2000 DSL 401

I haven't yet heard Return to Forever, though I've recently become quite the fan of AL di Meola. RTF is definitely on my list of bands/artists to check out!

Blind Guardian. Just bought "Imaginations From The Other Side". Marcus looks about 20 years old in the CD booklet photo.

If you like Swallow the Sun, you should check out Mourning Beloveth and October Tide, they're beyond awesome.
