I found Andrew's theory lessons and have been printing them out so I can study on the move.

Does anyone know any good sites that will actually test you on some of the theory? Maybe a flash site with questions?
Kinda like you pick something like "The CAGED SEQUENCE" from a pull down list and you have a test with questions to answer?

Thanks GMC.

I don't know about quizzes, but jamming and improvising is a best and most fun way to put the knowledge into practice smile.gif

There is a "guitar scales method" software program that goes over all the theory stuff. It is laid out in "test question" fashion and I found it to be very helpful, especially when you are trying to learn all the keys/modes and corresponding chords and triads. Google "guitar scales method". It ain't free but definitley worth the investment and you can get as basic or deep into the theory as you want.

Well that depends entirely on what you already know about theory and what your goals are, i'm sur ei can point you to a certain one at some point this weekend! (I'm about to leave the house and go dress up as a Top Gun pilot for a fancy dress party laugh.gif )

I actually bought that program and it is really good. I do use it in conjuction with what im learning here. I need something portable I can take with me on the move. More like when I goto to the in-laws! smile.gif

Ebook would be great as I can put it on my DS.

I want one of those .doc/.pdf readers... It's in the shape of a small pocketbook, with a screen that you just do the "flip-page-motion" on, and it changes the page... I can't remember what it was called, though...

I'd like one of those too. But they are RIDICULOUSLY expensive.

$400 or so.

Forget that.

I'd rather have a new guitar!!!!!
