I played a couple at Guitar Center and liked them a lot. I love the fact that you can find a quality guitar that is still a fixed bridge...I just don't ever use the trem on my Ibanez or Fender.

Indeed, I love my Schecter Omen 6! It's extremely good (compared to the ones I've had), and extremely affordable =)

I was in Canada a month or two back, was going to buy a guitar there (half price on many of the guitars compared to Norway). When I found the Schecter C-1 Exotic star in a beautiful red finish, the choice was easy. Today, its certainly the guitar I use the most in advantage of my LTD, Gibson and Ibanez, both for metal and also for jazz and blues. I love my Schecter cool.gif

I'm not too fond of them, I tried a few at a guitar store and they all had some problem with them- The active pickups were screwed up, or the jack wasn't working or the wiring was bad... but if I could find one that works I might give them a second chance. They're absolutely beautiful, though, the ones with the red quilted maple and the silver binding...

I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!

Look at the topic for my guitar...
Finished Guitar Build

Gear:
Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!)
Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :)
Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker)
Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!)

Every time I look and play my Schecter, I fall in love with her more and more. Whenever I buy a guitar, I always end up disappointed because its not the same as my Schecter. Although it is not perfect in every shape or form, what guitar is, Schecter offered me a guitar that's of beauty in sound, texture, and looks and I will always cherish the moments I have playing this guitar.

One thing is for sure, the next guitar I will buy, is made by Schecter. They look cool and the fact that they have a fixed bridge makes it even more awesome. I really appreciate the floyd rose on my Ibanez but when it comes to tunning to a different tunning, I wish I had a fixed bridge.

I also just love Schecters, totally have to get one of these in the near future, maybe the C-1 Classic or a 7-string.

Some time ago I was on ebay and there was a dealer that sells those models with a small blemish in the wood for the half prize. (the guitar was still new)
