Active pickups are that expensive, it's the same with active Seymour Duncans... I prefer Emgs over every other pickup but you might try the 85 in the bridge before you install it because not everbody likes it in the bridge. The standard 81/85 setup will do good in an RG. Check out Ebay, you can get a set for ~100$ Yeah I would suggest suggest looking for the 81/85 set on Ebay if you dig that sound!! Its a well know configuration and it works well.. That would be a great price for those pickups, I would definitely go for them.

I second to that, 130$ is very good price. Besides, they can damage easily so my guess they are in great condition as well.

this might be a dumb question but they look like they need batteries.. and the guy that is selling em says he does not have the extra cables and connectors.. Well,he doesn't need to have any extra cables, he has to offer you cables and connectors he has already, those are regular accessories for every active pickups. Otherwise you might have problems to install it. -------------------- Youtube

Do you have the link? EMG pickups are usually active and do need a battery to run, so you need to have a battery compartment somewhere in the guitar body.
