Hi there

I'm really a recording/software-beginner, dunno if this is possible or not. My question is if its possible to extract a drumtrack from Guitar pro and in some way get it played with the drums from EzDrummer DFH.

Shor answer is: Yes!

Long answer is that you have to export the drum track as a midi track and import it into your DAW. When you have done that you can load EZ drummer on the midi track with the drums from guitar pro. However, guitar pro does not use the same mapping as EZ drummer so either you have to move the different parts manually or get a conversion drum map if you're using cubase.

You have to export the track as a MIDI track and then use it with the other program.
In the menu - File - Export - MIDI

I hope it was useful.

As others said, export as MIDI and save. Make sure you mute the rest of the instruments in the track if present. Open your daw and insert as media item. Arm that track and select fx>vsti>ezd. You should be good to go then! smile.gif

As everyone said before..Also you can export other instruments from guitar pro as midi and assign them to various VST instruments in your DAW..Comes in really handy smile.gif

I do just that for backings for covers.

Rarely do I need to move any of the drums around.

I do the same thing and use Spectrasonics "Trilogy" for bass.

This would be tricky. You would have to change the drum map!
