To keep the MTP running along nicely we have decided to open up a test program for intermediate players as well, this group will be mentored by me with support from Kris and Andrew.

If you are an intermediate player please make sure you read THIS POST from Andrew first so that you are fully aware of what the MTP is all about.

I will open a "Sign up" thread shortly and will be looking for 4 students to Mentor at this point, one thing I will stress and cant stress enough is that you must be prepared for some hard work and effort over the next couple of months, if you can commit to the program and really want to progress then sign up with a video of yourself playing.

a clip from the guidelines explains this better smile.gif

5. How do Students Sign Up?

To sign up, a student must post to the signup thread, including a video of his or her current level of playing - this gives the potential mentors a feel for the type of playing the student is capable of and what his style is - this doesn;t have to be elaborate, just a few chops and techniques. The student should also include some ideas on what he/she wants to achieve in the next 6 month period, and some notes on the overall style of playing they want to develop - eithe r spoken in the video , or in writing in the signup post.

What are you waiting for? biggrin.gif

Sign up with your vids and info HERE

ok smells THX tongue.gif

oh and heres the text from the sign up of beginners which i found on page 654324357

hey guys
i would like to be part of this program
the style i am looking for is some kind of hard rock and metal style

my achievments
- solide, spicy rhythm guitar
- soloing

overall style
- rock style (kind of ACDC, Bon Jovi etc)
- metal style (kind of Metallica, Rage against the machine, etc)
- Funk rock

my playing
i have been playing guitar for nearly 15 years, knowing some power chords and some licks, but mainly my playing is very simple, no complicated riffing and chords

never been playing real solos, just a few that doesnt sound pretty good
thats what i need to improve 100%

so thats mainly the things i want to improve or learn
video will follow (with webcam or with digital cam ?)
thx
Harry
