I don't know about you others, but I've been following some of the tips recommended in this thread. Like not taking the second takings of dinner I don't need, and exercising a couple of times a week.
Last time I checked in here: Weight as of 25/9: 90kg (hasn't changed in several months :S) Goal: 80kg ^^ Weight as of 15/10: 86kg I'm thrilled -------------------- GMC is not just a website... It's a lifestyle!

OK - I need to lose weight! I totally did it to myself too and now I'm sick of the way I feel. I admit it - I'm a freakin' slob! I'm not really a big guy and I should be about 175 lbs for my size frame. I'm 5'10 and 200 lbs. My goal is to be about 175. I feel best at that weight. I need some motivation. How can I get motivated to work out. How can I pass that stupid vending machine at my office?! I lost 30lbs over this summer. The only way to lose weight is to watch your diet and exercise. And to lose weight you dont have to lift weight or do anything heavy. Lifting weights only helps you to build muscle and it doesnt really burn a significant amount of fat. Cardio is the best thing to do for this matter. I use to run 2 miles, 3-5 days a week. And really watched my diet. Its best if you can run or jog first thing in the morning before eating anything. But if you dont have enough time or a lazy person like me then anytime during the day is fine as long as you stay regular. Running in the morning helps best because you dont have anything in your stomach at that time and therefore, when you start running it starts to burn your carb deposit right away and then goes to your fat deposit(when you start to sweat). Vending machines man, thats the worst thing for the healthy life. I use to carry protein bars with me to school and work so that i dont get tempted to use that vending machine when i get hungry. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
