I am, but I don't think I'll be continuing once my free month is out. I'm kinda tired of gaming -.-

Great game, though ^^

Hehe, true... If I don't have time for guitar, I MAKE time for guitar by not playing games or surfing on the web for hours tongue.gif

I haven't played yet.

Variety is the spice of life friends.

I can't play guitar 24/7. I have other hobbies too. Not to mention family, a need to eat and sleep. Gotta go to work to earn a buck.

I think it really narrows down time wasted with grinding and the fresh thinking spices up MMO's

But don't think the gameplay is very.. dynamic.. For a whole new MMO the fights are bit awkward and "choppy" like the chars take turns to bash very oldschool.

All in all good for not wasting as much time grinding gold and other ridiculously silly hack/slash stuff as other MMo's *cough WoW*

But I just wan't to play guitar I'm not buying further subsciption.

I'm a big MMO nerd, though I haven't played any since I quit WoW several years ago (after a few months). Played everquest when it came out, ultima, asheron's call, dark age of camelot, many others. But anyway, my brother bought warhammer and he seems to like it. Just not the game for me though. The RVR doesn't seem nearly as cool as what it was in dark age of camelot. There don't seem to be nearly as many players defending a keep as there were in DAoC, which is quite a disappointment to me. Also, the rest of the game seems too much like WoW for me to enjoy it.

That said, I'm looking forward to quite a few games. I used to co-run a fansite for a game called Vanguard, and I have several friends among developers who worked for that game, many of whom are now among other companies, working on other games... smile.gif Some of the ones I'm looking at are the recently announced Star Wars: The Old Republic, which is being made by Bioware (baldur's gate, KOTOR1, mass effect, etc) and Lucasarts. Going to be playing that one with some buddies from Star Wars Galaxies. I'm 99% positive this game is going to be great, though it probably won't release until next year.

Also on the list is Darkfall, which is supposed to release this year. It looks like an awesome throwback to Ultima Online style open free for all PVP where the community is the law. After Darkfall, it's mostly a bunch of murky water as far as what games will release, some that haven't been announced.. some to look up are Mortal Online, Heroe's Journey, Earthrise, The Agency, Fallen Earth... and some companies to watch might be Red 5 (former blizzard employees I think), 36 studios (Curt Schilling's company, which has a lot of great people in it such as R.A. Salvatore, Todd McFarlane), and probably several others I can't think of right now. I'm not sure if it will happen but there might be a Fallout MMO and possibly an Elder Scrolls (Oblivion, Morrowind, etc) MMO, both of which I think could be really cool on the level of the new star wars one.

Yeah, I'm a big nerd tongue.gif Games are second to guitars on the hobby list.

No, but I agree they are soul-killers! You have to play them in moderation. Which is what I've learned to do after years of playing them tongue.gif I think they can be a great form of entertainment though. There haven't really been any worth playing since probably before WoW though, in my opinion. They used to be about communities of people, working together and accomplishing something, but now they're all about solo play, instant gratification and of course, $$$.

The ones I mentioned I think have the best chance of being worthwhile smile.gif
