yesterday a brutal riff came to my mind, and i had to record it, but it's very short..YET !! biggrin.gif

(you can use it for you pod, i think.
Important: Less gain on lower tuned guitars and more gain to higher tuned guitars. I use Standart D)

sounds alot like Lamb Of God too

maybe you could try to play some of the powerchords an octave higher, to make them pop out of the riff
but its just a trick im using when i compose riffs

your tone is really cool too laugh.gif
