thats THEIR opinion. i own an LTD EX, and its great. LTD's are just ESP that arent made in The ESP factory. ESP's are VERY expensive, in the $2000 to $9000 price range. LTD's most certanily do not suck. as for a case, ask the salesman at the store, and he should hook you up. i got a used coffin case for mine, for $50.

I really don't like LTD guitars but I hate ESP guitars. Just try loads in a shop near you and find a favourite. Then buy it from America.

I really wouldn't go out and buy an ESP if you have never tried one. Same with any guitar. It isn't very wise unless you have a lot of money and don't mind the possiblity of wasting cash. A guitar is a very personal thing. Whereas one person may love PRS, ESP and Jackson say others would hate those guitars.

I love Fender, Caparison, Parker and Suhr guitars and hate PRS, ESP, Gibson, Jackson and Ibanez for example. It's very risky to buy a guitar you've never played especially if you have never played a guitar by the company.
