... I thought I'd share a cool site I found with a bunch of Jam and Backing Tracks.
http://www.freshbt.com/search/top/topdownloads ... Here is the "Mother-Source". Which lists a few more sites that I haven't checked out yet... http://guitar-lessons-swicki.eurekster.com...backing+tracks/ ... Oh, and here's a cool site for scales (You've probably already seen it though). DON'T DEPEND ON IT!! Just use it as a reference... http://jguitar.com/ |

Which Lesson? That's my favorite track, and I can see some Marcus Lavendell vibes in that track . I do hope the site gets more tracks like this, they are simply the most fun to play with... |

But maybe i am completly wrong:) Thanks for your help Edguy I played with this one today also. I found D minor and or A Phrygian, also D Pentatonic minor seem to work really nice over it. You just need to land on the right notes. This post has been edited by UncleSkillet: Oct 5 2008, 01:13 AM -------------------- "Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
