I payed little over 1000Euros for it(it costs 2000Euros new^^).
It hasn't arrived yet but from the pics I've seen it has a dark brown finish on the neck and back but you can still see the wood through it. It isn't the black finish from the tobacco burst finish.

Of all the Les Paul Standards I have seen over the many years that I've been a guitar player, your desert burst is the most beautiful I've ever seen. A friend of mine owns one, and I tell him the same thing. It's a matter of personal taste, of course, but I think yours is just gorgeous...great choice!
