Marty Friedman

Paul Gilbert

then....

Herman Li of Dragonforce.

Which one needs to work on his phrasing?

Yeah, Herman is full of mistakes but uses effects to cover it.
Have you noticed Marty Friedman's beautiful guitar, which one is it I wonder?

It just shows he hasnt a clue how to actualy phrase and what notes to rest on in this clip,Gilbert was good but to be honest I have seen him play better and I have never been a big fan of marty or satch,so i shouldnt have watched this then.lol

Who else are Ibanez going to get?Going to get to the point when you buy a Ibanez in a shop your instantly going to get endorsed and share stage with vai/satch/timmons/gilbert and crew

talking of Andy Timmons, wish he was on stage with this lot.Watching him and Gilbert trade licks would be the best thing

Well in this video i have to say.

Marty Friedman: Good
Paul Gilbert:Good
Herman Li:Sounds like a bunch of noise in no key whatsoever while repeating the same notes over and over...Nothing out of the ordinary here tongue.gif .

Honestly, From what herman normally does live, this is fairly good for him..

But Satch, Paul Gilbert, Doug Doppler, and Marty Friedman, absolutely ripped it.

Paul Gilbert in my oppinion "invented" guitar for these guys. They are not even close to his playing. I like Friedman also.
