The guy is a superb player, and the father of neo-classical shred, but there are times when I'd like to wring his neck. I saw a video of him purchasing a '60s era Strat at a store in the UK for 3500. He took the guitar to his limo, then he threw it onto the floor in the back. It must be nice to have that kind of money, though I wouldn't treat a guitar that way, especially a nice vintage one. Youd be about right. i read in an interview with his former manager that he constantly talked about killing anyone who made him angry; his friends, his wife, his fans, the man is a complete maniac. he threatened his wife with a loaded shotgun when she asked him not to go on tour again for a few months. crazy.
