Thats why it is always important to also practice slow, not just at lightspeed.

Since realising this fact I have improved considerably and now I can slowly up the speed along with a metronome smile.gif

Realy cool OC!! You rock tongue.gif

The tone is very neat and your playing is as well. One tip: try using the uploads sections next time, ah well, I'm not an admin, so I maybe shouldn't be saying that wink.gif

Nice OC!

Cheers kaz. I always thought the uploads thread was for uploads not connected with GMC lessons whereas this forum is GMC, Lessons and Practicing which is specifically for GMC lesson uploads and questions or am I wrong?

I'm not sure. huh.gif

I've been trying to record video also but if you just play the backing on PC speakers and play over it through PC speakers it sounds awful after you record with webcam.

It sounds great OC, you really nailed the technique and tone as well. It sounds very much like Muris tone. Some vibratos were a bit shaky, but all in all I think you did some great playing here mate. Well done smile.gif

Thanks for that Ivan smile.gif I've been practicing guitar a lot more now and I'm having more enjoyment and I've found that I'm a lot happier with how I play. smile.gif

Absolutely, mic on camera isn't the solution.
But you should try to record it separately,
audio in reaper(or in any software that you're using for audio)
and video on the camera of course,
then do syncing in Windows Movie Maker per example.
Most of the GMC instructors are recording lessons just like this. smile.gif

I will give it a try. Is it fairly easy to do?

Cant tell for sure, depends of what software you're gonna use,
with Reaper and WMM it shouldn't be too hard. smile.gif

I use Sonar and probably WMM which shouldn't be too much different I guess.

I guess it'll work fine.
You might have some problems tho if that'd be your first attempt
to record video and audio this way.
But ask if you run into problems and we'll try to help in any way we can. smile.gif

Cheers. I should be ok. I'm an Electronics Engineer and I can put all these devices I use together from scratch but don't know how to work them in the slightest biggrin.gif
